So I’ve spent my last day cleaning the house
, pah! Decided to spend the remaining couple of hours indulging myself though by creating another new theme. I could’ve gone back to an old one but I thought what the heck I probably won’t get a chance to make any more new ones for a while now so it’ll be good to have a few in hand. So here we are. I’ve used an enchanting graphic by an American artist called Patience Brewster. I came across her work for the first time on Saturday when I picked up a couple of her greetings cards from the shop I mentioned before. As soon as I got home I went on her website and found a veritable feast for people like me who love this type of work. I’ll definitely be looking out for more of her work to buy although there aren’t many places which stock her work yet in the UK.
So tomorrow is back to school and the first day will be spent preparing the classroom for the children’s return on Wednesday. I can’t believe we’re into the last term already. It hardly seems like five minutes since I received these children back in September. And what a fab little group they are (well hardly little as there are 30 of them
). I shall be very sad when I have to say goodbye to them in July. They’ve been a delight to teach with their enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

I am an idiot..I posted in the wrong place! I just wanted to say Good luck for tomorrow as you are going back. But it being a PD say, it won’t be too hard for you! But very busy I guess!
And another theme! This is pretty too..the fairies at the top are so graceful!
More eye candy, Nikki! Good for you, indulging in something creative while you can. I, too, have been creating and destroying and creating again today. I didn’t realize you had 30 children. That is a large niumber of little people! I saw an article on Patience B in the Mary Engelbreit Companion magazine. Don’t know if they have back issues of that sort of thing in your heck of the woods. I love whimsical artists v. much!!! It’s difficult to incorporate these things into a site, but you have done a nice job. See you in a couple of days. We’re off to the literal woods for a visit with son and bride tomorrow – no internet access for them, yet. Happy back to school, dear.
Hoping you do well in prepping the classroom for the next few days. Yes time flys when you are having fun.
Love that header! How in the world did you get that? Really incredible. Reminds me of a collectable called Harmony Boxes.
Will be thinking about you this week. hugz
I LOVE the fairies at the top!
You’ve done a great job here. I love to come and just “look”. It’s a perfect place to “disappear into” for me!
I’m back with a kindergarten blog link:
