beautiful day

Not sure how long it will last as the forecast is for more rain soon, but I took full advantage of the sunshine this evening when I got home from school! So now we have all the summer furniture out at long last! Everywhere is looking very beautiful at the moment. The blossom is just about the best I’ve ever seen, definitely my favourite time of year.

I had a surprise visit from my son yesterday which is why I didn’t do my normal blog. It was wonderful to see him as I hadn’t seen him since well before Easter. He lives about 60 miles away and hasn’t been working this way for a while but whenever he gets the chance he always comes to see his mum :)

This morning Dave went to see his doctor after having more blood tests done on Monday. Having been told that his potassium level was dangerously high, today he was told that it had dropped to 5.1 which is perfectly ok! :D :D :D Very mysterious though. The only thing that may have happened is that on the day of the original tests, when the level was so high, he was actually unwell with a tummy bug. I’m going to investigate what can cause such a big increase.

Gosh, Thursday already tomorrow! One of my favourite days as we can, provided the weather is fine, go out on the playing field and do outdoor P.E. As Sports Day isn’t too many weeks away, we’ll be practising team games and ball skills. Great fun!

I made a carrot cake and and chocolate cake. Not much left for my husband tommorrow (LOL) I think I’ll make a new one for him and have a party for him tomorrow with me and the kids:) Have a Sunny day tomorrow! Hugs Bente

  2. Hi, Nikki, it all sounds so lovely chez toi. You are so welcome re the emails. I’m sure they’re full of gaps but will try to help when time comes. Added that book you recommended to my Amazon Wishlist – looks like something I’d like, too.

  6. I was doin’ my dishes and think, hey Nikki will be home for the weekend! So I came by. 8)

Oh and hey how fun, that marker of taking out your summer furniture. I am considering what we will get. Since we left all ours in our moves. Adirondack chairs, synthetic wicker, or just regular ole ones that you can put cushions on. The last are great dual, cause you can lounge reasonably and even have a meal along side the table, ya know? Nuttin’ like el Fresco.

Now is the bloom so good cause of how winter was? That happens. Or is it the outlook of the looker ;)

Personally I notice flowers all over. So I am right there with ya! Almost wanna get my fingers dirty.

You must of just loved visiting with him! So so nice. Our eldest son I so miss him. He is over in Michigan. I think it is havin’ that ole personality around ya, and really just lookin at that face huh? Glad for ya both.

Nikki thank God! Daves numbers are down….mysteriously? I was like so praying for him, even this morning. So smiling here. A very very good week-end!

Such a lift being here…..
