The eggs arrived yesterday so the last couple of days have been filled with stories about chicks, discussions about life cycles etc. The children are really excited about the impending arrival of 10 (hopefully) little chicks in the classroom and today something happened! A little hole appeared and movement could be seen…..after the children had all gone home and silence prevailed we heard a distinct cheep coming from within
We’ve been told that a 100% success rate has been experienced by all schools who’ve participated in the last few weeks. I’m going to try and post a photo update each day as we fully expect things to happen fast! Although some may hatch overnight there’s a good chance we’ll see at least one hatch out while the children are there.
The sun has finally just come out after two horribly miserable and rainy days. The children have been stir crazy, desperate to get outside and release some pent up energy. Tomorrow looks like more of the same
but Thursday looks like being warm sunshine
Had my hair done today in the same colours as last time but with an asymmetric cut this time..short and above my ears one side and longer and over my ears the other side. Looks fab! Will take a pic when I get a chance.

Aww how great on the kids being able to watch those eggs hatch and the chicks grow.. when my boys were little we went to a farm, the farmer gave Taryl a duck egg to hold and it hatched right there in his hand.. amazing.
Our weather is very daft, we had a wet windy morning and a gorgeous warm afternoon!
Your hair sounds lovely
Have a great evening
Hugs Pixie
what a brilliant idea with the eggs
I can imagine the kiddies being excited, or should that be eggscited! har har!
Yes, I do have broadband, but we changed the phones last week. The same thing happened the last time we changed the phones, so I’m hoping it’s just a little glitch and will settle itself down. I can get online, just not as quickly as I would like!
meant to say yesterday that I know of Susan Branch. I have to most beautiful little notebook that I use as a ‘to do’ list, but not often, as I’m trying to keep it for as long as poss. I was also sent SB notelets, and have kept two for myself and the envelopes because they were covered in little hearts and so pretty! I’ll have to take a piccie and show you. I still haven’t looked at the website. Meant to do it last night but got sidetracked looking at fabric again!
sorry the kids drive you bonkers when it’s rainy, it won’t last forever!
right. got to go. a bit more fabric browsing to do!
xxxx
What a fun thing! I’m sure all your kids are having trouble sleeping they’re so excited to get back to class. Love the hair description. I’m still gray. I should get up the nerve to go blonde. They have a saying down here that southern girls are not blonde, but their mothers are! The graduation was really a sweet one, and it stopped raining just in time and stayed dry the rest of the night. That was wonderful for all the girls and their hairdos and stiletto heels. Oh, thanks so much for all the art. I love the Agnew one. I hadn’t given it much thought before, but now I’ll think of you when I see it. Hugs, Julia
Oh the chicks are wonderful….I want some, lol.
yes, lets see your hair, I’m desperate to do something with my hair but not sure what.
