Bought a new camera today after losing the USB lead for my other one. And it was starting to eat batteries so must have been on it’s way out anyway. I’ve gone from 3mp to 8mp so am noticing quite a difference in the quality of the pics although I think with some practice I could get better. As I didn’t have anything in particular I wanted to take photos of I just went around the house snapping favourite objects. Look further down for some examples.
At 1.45pm today Tom, my son, took his first driving test. Unfortunately he didn’t pass but I’ve reassured him that it’s quite rare for young men to pass first time. He doesn’t seem too sad about it and is going to put in for another one as soon as possible.
I went to the doctor’s day, mainly to talk (or rather croak) about my lack of voice. She agreed that it’s not normal to lose one’s voice as frequently as I’ve been doing so has ordered me to completely rest my vocal chords for the next ten days and then go back and see her. If I’m still having problems she’s going to get me referred to an ENT doctor so that my vocal chords can be examined. So I now have to shut up for ten days. Yikes!! Within ten minutes of getting home I’d had two phone calls and was already breaking my oath of silence. IT AIN’T EASY!!
