Florence photos online

by Sonia And only one more day left of my summer holiday :( . Can’t complain though as we teachers do have more holidays than anyone else! Here’s the link to my Florence photos http://www.ibdsupport.co.uk/italy/florence, alternatively if you haven’t seen any of my pics click on the Italy page which is either in the menu at top or in sidebar, depending on what theme you’re using. I’ve been trying to cram everything I haven’t done into the last few days. Saturday we had a day shopping in Cambridge which was grrreat! Sunday, my nieces Fran and Chloe came to visit with my mum who they had been staying with for a few days. We also attended a party for a short while and then went to visit Dave’s sister in Addenbrookes hospital. She also has PKD and is further along the line than Dave. She was in to have a tube put into her tummy ready for when she starts dialysis.I spent nearly all of Monday sorting out and throwing out all the clothes I’ve been hoarding for the last goodness knows how many years. Time to say goodbye to some old favourites. Yesterday I tried fruitlessly to connect my old computer to my wireless network. I have indeed wasted numerous hours on this!! I managed to connect my new desktop and laptop easily but the old pc isn’t having it which is a shame as it’s used for updating Tom’s iPod. I’ve also been looking after my friend Jane’s pup who is the half brother of Charley. We’re always happy to have him here as he’s a sweetie….what’s one more crazy spaniel when you’ve already got two?!

I love this pic of Travis!
Charley with Bertie...I think this shows how tiny Charely is

All three rascals together!

Hello Nikki, what a pleasure to discover your page about Firenze, it brings back so many memories, Fiesole & Pistoia included. I’m so happy you had a fantastic time. Italy is such a special country :) You must be impatient to go back. Sorry you go back to school already, soon there will be shorter vacations again. Thanks for sharing these vacations & photos with us, you might want to read Under the Tuscan Sun & Bella Tuscany by Frances Mayes to read more about the places you went to & many more. It’s amazing how these cities have kept their medieval look. Have a good day, big hugs

    Hello sweetie ! :)
I hope the end of your vacations were not too stressful. I hope your come back to school will be great & that you’ll get to teach well-behaved children.
Thanks so much for sharing your pics from Firenze with us, I had soooo much pleasure viewing them, as just Elizabeth said, it also brings sweet memories from the past. I never went to Firenze, but went to Parma, Bologna, Piacenza & other ones … Yes, Italy is a great country.
Great job on sorting your clothes. That’s always a bit hard to do, specially hard to leave or give a clothe you used to wear a lot but that doesn’t fit anymore. I also shopped for clothes (I know- AGAIN !) yesterday, on our anniversary. I also got myself a cute mug, I posted pics at my blog.
Oh, I’m so sorry about Dave’s sister. What exactly is PKD ?
