The weather has again been amazing….sunny all day with temperatures of around 18c/64f. I really cannot remember the last time we had such good weather at Easter. Generally in the UK, if there’s a bank holiday due, you can expect rain! We’ve had another lazy day……not rising until rather late (the Sunday papers were very compulsive reading today 
). Dave is cooking a large piece of beef for this evening and will be adding all the usual trimmings (yorkshire pud, roast potatoes, loads of veg etc). A good roast just can’t be beaten in our opinion and we usually make a point of having one on Sundays, yum! Dave is feeling a lot better, as am I…my voice has returned to normal so have been talking again much to Dave’s annoyance

ooh, I love a good roast too. If I hadn’t already made the lasagne on Friday for Saturday night then we would have had the roast beef then, instead of cold for sarnies. Can’t beat a good roast dinner.

I love a good roast dinner too, although we seem to have got into the habit of having it on a Monday evening generally.( My daughter’s bf always comes round then and I like to feed him up

I agree with you! What a beautiful Easter weekend! Actually the last week or so has been really nice. We have had the children home since last Tuesday and time just flew by! Great to read that you are both better! At least you can now really enjoy the second week of your break!
