Have had two wonderful surprises in my mail in the last few days. Two of the sweetest sigtags. One from dear Carmen, made by Jaana at Cottontailgraphics. The other, which I received today, made by and from my lovely friend Ashild at Jenny’s Grandchild. How special it is to receive such thoughtful and unexpected gifts! A huge and heartfelt thank you to both of you

It’s been a very tiring week (what’s new?!). But I haven’t been too well all week and have found it tough going. The children have been wonderful and found out this week who their new teacher will be next year. So now I start the process of handing them over. And never have I been more proud to pass on a class
Aww your gifts are adorable! I just love Ashilds work
I hope you are feeling better now and have a great weekend! *hugs*
Nikki, I’m sorry to hear you’re not feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. Have a good weekend!
Hugs,
Selina
Hi Nikki! I was very happy to see your comment!
Thanks again for your help! I realized that one of the mistakes I made was not maximizing my “Notepad” window so the html line was splitting up into 3 parts PLUS I had left out the target blank but all is well now!
In fact, even though I promised to behave, I was able to correctly add a few more siggies to the ad rotator plug-in. I’m used to working in Dreamweaver (like FrontPage) so editing in notepad is somewhat new to me.
I am currently not teaching now because we plan to do some traveling. I normally teach elementary school- usually the primary grades: 1st 2nd and 3rd. (That’s 6, 7 and 8 year olds- I know your system is different.)
For the last few years, I’ve also been doing “Homework” for all my blogging friends so if you ever see the homework pages on other sites- that’s me.
I also started Elliot’s Excellent Adventure- a little traveling stuffed mouse that has been all around the world and on every continent but Antarctica. He made 3 stops in England (Brighton, Kent and Ipswich) and he’s also been to Scotland. You can see about him here:

Thanks again for your help and for visiting! (((Hugz)))
Hi Nikki, I hope you’re feeling better. You sound like a wonderful teacher. Congratulations on your cute gifts, you deserve them. Have a great weekend, hugs
Hi, Nikki, sorry to hear you’ve not been well. I hope you make a quick turnaround for the better. Good news, though, that this is your class has achieved so much. What a great feeling there!
Your little siggies are so cute. I haven’t taken the time to put mine back up yet but will. I’m kind of waiting for a new Movable Type coming out any moment because the page structure is supposed to change and I might have to redo again. I get jealous everytime I look at your many precious graphics – not in a mean way, of course!!!
Thank you for your kind comments re Matt and Ashley. They are doing okay, although she had a bit of trouble after the miscarriage and is being watched every couple of days. It’s probably nothing – just intense pain – not nothing if it’s you!!! They have her on medication for that, though. My daughter Ashley is coming in Friday for two weeks, so she’ll keep me hopping every single day.
Hope Dave is feeling okay. Think of you so often. Hugs, Julia
