Just very, very busy at the moment….. drowning in Christmas! We had the dress rehearsal for our nativity play today. It went really well so we’re all hoping it goes swimmingly tomorrow. Funny thing is that the parents actually prefer it if there are little mistakes! As teachers we want it to be perfect after all the weeks of practising but I totally understand that it’s the funny little incidents that make it great. Such as Mary holding the baby upside down or Joseph spending the whole time picking his nose! Our play is called Whoops-a-Daisy Angel and the little girl playing the part is totally typecast and hardly needs to act at all! She spends most of the performance pulling up her tights or losing her halo
. Parents will be coming to watch tomorrow and then it’ll be all systems go making Christmas cards, decorations and biscuits, what fun!!! BTW apologies to anyone viewing this in IE, for some reason which I haven’t worked out yet, this theme has a problem with that browser…it’s best viewed in Firefox
.
Hi Nikki, it’s so special to work with children at Christmas time. I agree that parents don’t mind mistake. I guess if you didn’t want everything perfect there would be even more mistakes LOL Have a good week, hugs

Hi Nik,
I do like this theme. The colors are so soothing to the eye. I’m hoping it soon gets to slow down for you at school, you teachers have my respect!
Look after yourself,
