Work I mean! The Christmas break always goes by in a whizzy blur and we’re soon back at the chalk face again 
No children until Monday, though, so today was spent getting the classrooms ready and having a lengthy staff meeting. Best news of all was that we can work from home tomorrow! Certainly makes sense in this day and age when so much of our job is paper pushing.
Dave went back to work yesterday and, although tired, is managing quite well. He has a certain amount of discomfort when he gets up and down from a chair but the rest of the time he’s fine. I think the fact that he spends most of his time driving around is a help, as, if he had a manual job he probably wouldn’t be able to do it.
We’d been more or less promised snow here today so I’ve been very disappointed not to see so much as a flake of the stuff! Lots up in the north of England and in Scotland but as usual this part of the country misses out 
 It’s even going to turn milder again tomorrow with lots of rain, booooooooo! Wet and mild is my most unfavourite weather of all!

To your question, YES HE DOES REEK OF GARLIC !!!!! And I abso. HATE THAT ! He’s been here for less than 3 hours & I’m already mad. 
Can’t wait till Monday when he’ll leave, sad to say.

yes, we were robbed! Makes me so annoyed, when the weather people give us these ‘weather warnings’, saying it could be really bad,and then apart from a few tiny flakes…nothing! Grr. Oh well. Bill has been out on the road, so in a way it was just as well. I’m sure we’ll get snow by the end of the month. HOpe so, humbug would like to go out and make a ‘nanman’ which is what she cals a snowman!

Hi Nikki! Yes it was back to work on Thursday. It wasn’t too bad as it was only two days. This week is going to be a killer with 5! Although I have a field trip on Wed. with 4th grade. I’m excited for it as it is a Farm Show. Lot’s of good food! Glad Dave is getting around. We never get the snow either. It hits the mountains and then breaks up. HOpe you are having a good weekend. Hi Nikki Sorry to hear that Dave has had some problems but glad that it he is on the mend and back to work. What a worry for you both. Yes the snow thing was a big disappointment – we had plenty falling but none was laying but we don’t really expect that by the sea
