Yay!! I LOVE Spring! Mind you, after a week of mild, sunny spring like weather, this week we’ve had an icy winterlike blast. Snow fell during the last two nights and reminded us that winter hadn’t quite gone. The weathermen are promising more appropriate weather by the weekend though.
On Monday, Dave and I met his granddaughter, Robyn, for the first time. She’s six weeks old and the sweetest, prettiest little girl you ever did see (well of course I’m going to say that!). I’m not used to baby girls and was immediately smitten by her petiteness and general demeanor of calm. Kaye and her husband drove 380 miles to visit us but as he had to be back at work today they were only able to stay the one night. We’re hoping to visit them at Easter though.
I’m posting a couple of photos of things I’ve mentioned to friends in the last week or so. One is a photo of the dogs after having their hair cut last week. Elizabeth, what do you think? Spaniels or Dalmations?! The other photo is of the Mother’s day cards my children made last week. As I’d been off work for the preceding week I had to come up with something very quickly for them to make. The children loved making them and were very proud of the results. They took them home on the Friday and have assured me that they managed to hide them until the Sunday! Just started on the Easter cards today!

Awwwww cute cute cute ! The doggies are so cute like that, they look so sweet !

And the cards ! Wow ! What a gorgeous job for little hands !! Great job on the idea & for what your pupils managed to make !
I hope you’re both doing fine. Colds are all over the place right now, over here … knock on wood, I’m managing to go through … hope I won’t have spoken too fast !
Sending you big big hugs & my best regards to Dave. OXOXOXO
Hi Nikki…trying this again, it told me I had the wrong anti-spam word (what plug in is that by the way)? Anyways…loved the pictures of your dogs, very gorgeous! Hope you’re doing well, and have a very blessed day. Lotsa hugs!
the cards look great Nikki! Yes, Easter isn’t far away at all is it?
got to photos through just fine. She is gorgeous! Reminds me of Humbug when she was that tiny. I have to admit though, I was glad to get the first six weeks out of the way. Then I wanted them back because I had to take her in at 8 weeks for the start of the jabs. Worst thing I have had to do I think, watch her scream as a needle is shoved in her leg. I know it’s going to start again soon, when they do ‘part two’ as it were, once she’s 1.
anyway. back to the point. she is adorable. enjoy her, she looks like a little rascal
xxxx
