As it’s almost time for the third episode of a new BBC version of Jane Eyre which is one of my most favourite books of all time. Was there ever a sexier character than Mr Rochester? Many will say Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice or Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights, but for me it’s Mr Rochester, maybe because I came across him at a much younger and more impressionable age!
Tomorrow, we have another trip to Leicester hospital where we will be introduced to dialysis. It’s a kind of training day with lectures and workshops and hopefully will be helpful and informative.
aww…Nikki…It’s really lovely!!
I’m so glad you had fun putting it together…I love the green w/polkadots too.
I will be thinking of you tomorrow and hope the day goes well for you both. Like you said, being well-informed about things you have to deal with really does help so much, so that’s good. Warm hugs, pam
Hello there Nikki,
I’m sorry for taking so long to reply. I’m happy to hear that you’re enjoying the Midnight necklace, and the lil giftie =o). Have a wonderful day filled with many blessings.
I love Jane Eyre, BBC do a great drama
I hope all went well with you both at the hospital
Take care
Hugs Pixie
Oh, how exciting! I can’t wait to see this, no matter how long it takes. The Rochester certainly has the perfect looks for it, and so does the Jane, for that matter. I read JE when I was in seventh grade, a turning point in my reading career, that’s for sure. They keep making and remaking it, and maybe this time they’ll get it just right. Hugs, Julia
Aww Nikki,
I should have known you would be a kindred fan of the Heathcliff’s of the world!!! :O)
He was my first crush, Mr. Darcy my second, and then, of course, the pirate !!! Something about those dark haired, dark eyed men, with all of their “swarthiness”!!! (old word I just made up!?)
Please know I’ve been thinking of you and Dave.
Love,
Nova
