No sooner do I write my 101′s and include the statement that I’m in remission from the Crohn’s than I experience a flare up. After more than seven years of very few symptoms, I’ve been hit quite badly. Am now off work 
although I did go in yesterday as it was an important day which I couldn’t miss. So it’s fluids only for me at the moment and fingers crossed that I’m able to ride the storm without having to see my doctor. I suppose when you’ve lived with an illness for 18 years, you get to know the best way to treat it yourself and for me it’s usually bed rest and plenty of fluids. I’ve not taken any meds for it for seven years now and I really, really don’t want to go back on them which is what would happen if I went to my doctor. If I’m no better by Monday though……..
So yesterday my new class came to me for the morning. What a lovely, sweet little bunch they are. Only 23 of them, it was bliss! Made me realise how much my present class have matured and developed in nine months. Every year I think I’ll never be able to get a class to where I want them. I love the challenge though. We also had sports day yesterday. It had rained a little during the morning and was overcast up to the moment we all headed for the school field. And then unbelievably the sun came out and stayed out until just after it all finished. What luck!
My reports will go out tomorrow and it really feels like we’re coming to the end of the year. I just hope I’m able to be there for the last two weeks. I also have a party to attend on saturday if I’m up to it. One of the girls in my class has invited me to her 5th birthday party and she wants me to take Dave and the dogs too! How could I resist? It will be an opportunity for many of the kids to see Charley and Travis, something I’ve been wanting to do all year. They love hearing about them and they’ve seen plenty of photos of them so now they’ll actually see them in the flesh!

Oh, Nikki, first of all, thank you for the nicest note. Now! I am sorry to hear you’re having a flareup, but I really do think you need to see a doctor. Not that you asked. They MIGHT know something you don’t – maybe even new info. Oh, well, you’re just as bad as my sister, and she doesn’t listen either. Said out of love, so please take with a grain of salt. Do take care of yourself.
Nikki, I’m so sorry to hear you’re not feeling well! I know you hate going to the dr., but if you don’t get better……..well, you know the drill lol.

Busy time of year for you is it not? We’ve just had our school reports, as usual kids are doing brilliantly
I went on a school trip with Kane, year 3/4s, OMG, they were a pain in the bum hahaha
When do you break up? We have 2 weeks left, yay, can’t wait. Ooops, just saw the dates, you break up the same as us. Definitely meet in the hols, we’re also away when you are

Hopefully your flare has calmed down, if not maybe buy some affidipholus (sp), its helps me as done Bromilin (pinapple extract), but ignore my spellings
As for books read, just reading your list, I’ve just read Fred and Rose (West), it was an extremely disturbing read. I’ve also just been lent The Hills have Eyes(new horror film) but my sis says is also disturbing. Sian went to watch Pirates of the carribean, she enjoyed it but it wasn’t as good as the first. You seen any good films lately?
Off to see Lost prophets Weds, can’t wait and then its the Get loaded festival end of aug. Did you watch Pete on Jonathan Ross show? You can see it here on http://www.youtube.com, just search it. He looked soooo well, bless him
