1. Have you ever picked apples? Yes, when I was a student I used to pick strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries, apples and plums to earn some money. Plums were the worst as they were swarming with wasps!
2. Have you ever bobbed for apples? No, I don’t even know what it is!
3. What is your favorite apple desert? Apple crumble made with a crumble mixture that includes oats. Served with double cream. Yum!
4. What kind of apples do you prefer? Pink Lady are my favourite at the moment but any fresh English apple, provided it’s sweet, will do.
5. Do you believe that an “apple a day� keeps the doctor away? Yes, packed with vitamin C which definitely works well in building up some immunity.
Hi Nikki, I so love apples… our favourite pudding is appple crumble and I make mine with oats.. don’t have it with cream though, I like it warm with ice cream vanilla of course..

Apples are lovely but English apples are so hard to find! Even the big supermarkets have such a limited selection of them. And yet they taste so much better!
