Poor Elliot! OK, so I haven’t seen how he performed yet but I’m soooooo sure he didn’t deserve to be booted.
I have absolutely no preference for who wins now……….ever get the impression that I’m a bad loser?!
Tonight Big Brother 7 starts. Now this is one programme that divides me and Dave. He loathes it while I love it. I’ve been entranced by this programme ever since it irst started in 2000. I am always totally fascinated by the social interaction between the diverse characters within the group. Each year the producers choose more and more extreme personalities. Twelve housemates and thirteen weeks ensconced in the BB house. Love it or hate it, it’s back!
The Da Vinci Code touches down in the UK tomorrow. Has there ever been a more hyped and excitedly anticipated film? People leaving the first showing in Cannes yesterday were uninamous in their verdict….a big thumbs down. Not one had a good word to say about it. But isn’t this always the way when a film receives such a huge amount of pre-release hype? The only direction after such a build up is down regardless of it’s quality. I find that very sad!

Oh I think is a winner! Didn’t come in first. There just happen to be about 50,000 less people making call ins. Naw you ain’t no bad loser. Just layin’ out your opinion.
Now I actually don’t find myself compelled to watch people being filmed week after week in a home. Quite a few others I like that take you into a home, but really only for a week.
What does that say, I can only stand to watch regular people to a point. I’m laughing here. Guess it says more about what I like my human interests. Let’s not write a thesis about it.
O.K. so yeah um first takes on the Da Vinci is C+. Interesting huh? And my first thoughts are “that’s why there is the hype”, get the interesting and PR over to it. I am personally compelled to watch because of Tom Hanks. Plus a Europena compelling too.
I agree down is the only way :lol funny huh? There’s Hollywood for ya. What a business.
Oh and thanks for your kid comment. Kids are like such incredible entertainment. Mine are great photo opts too. Oh and no I am not in any of the Flickr pics. But a pic of me is over at my frappr http://www.frappr.com/janiacmom Plus over there you can get a better idea of where I am located as there is a map on the page.
You and Dave have a great evening O.K.?
Hi Nikki! Thanks always for your sweet words…you’re a lovely lady with a big heart. I’m really saddened that Elliot had to go home. I truly think he should have won. Katherine’s out of control ego is sooooooooo annoying, though her voice is beautiful. Taylor is awesome, but I don’t think he deserves to be the next American Idol…are you serious? I’m still rooting for him though! Anything to keep Katherine out! Elliot is a great guy as you can tell, with amazing talent and a great big heart. I guess he didn’t stand out as much as the others personality wise. I believe Elliot will do just fine. I could have kicked myself for not voting Tuesday night. I got sidetracked and when I saw the closeness of the results I exploded! LOL
Your blog is so beautiful! I really need to list ya under my fav reads =) Have a lovely day ok sweetie! Hugs!
Hello sweetie !
Oh, I won’t comment on what you posted this evening, I don’t even watch TV, don’t have the time to, or don’t find it for. I prefer to draw on the computer !
Btw, I just gave a well-deserved lift at my blog … I think you’ll be surprised ! It’s … colorful ! But, you know how much I love vibrant colors …
OK, time for me to go to bed now. Have a great night, sweetie. Big hugs from the French Crazy Girl !! OXOXOXO Best regards to Dave
Hi Nikki!
Yes… I can see the sun behind a sky (LOL) Let us get some summer days again! So today I’m cleaning the house…. just a little break. Have a wonderful weekend Nikki! Hugs Bente
How could you not appreciate or love how sincere Elliot is….he also has so
much soul; my favorite kind of music, really. His mom seems like such a nice
lady that truly loves her son. Good stuff, good stuff, I think.
I watched the two hour final show last night and was amazed at how good it was; lots of surprises and special guests. Mary Blige sort of drowned Elliot out, but he let her have the stage….that’s the kind of guy he is.
Hope you are well Nikki. A three day week-end coming up for me here in the U.S. with Memorial Day. Our pool in the condo opens; I may make an appearance there if it’s warm enough which it is supposed to be. Bathing suits, yikes!! On second thought …
Hugs, Judy
