My first weekend in weeks without having to worry about reports 
So what do I spend an awfully self indulgent lot of time doing?? Playing with this new theme which took ages to customise! OK so the UK is not yet experiencing summer but we can always pretend……I’ve been wanting to use this beautiful topper by Karol at HomeSweetHomeGraphics for ages.
Yesterday we did indeed do some glorious spending. Dave is generous to a fault and insisted on buying me my first flat screen monitor, and what a joy it is! The resolution is unbelievably different to my old tank that used to take up half my desk! It’s an HP 19″ and is FAB! We also bought a hammock….yes you did read that right! A few months ago I saw a beautiful one in M&S and have been yearning for one ever since. John Lewis were having an amazing 50% off sale and I was astonished to see how cheap their’s was! Here’s a photo of the one we bought. Now the obvious question is, will summer arrive so we can use it?!
Finally, I at last managed to watch the Keira Knightley version of Pride and Prejudice last night, and how I loved it. Of course, the story itself is as familiar to me as the moon at night but it was lovely to see a new version of such a wonderfully romantic tale

I heard summer is meant to happen around the middle of July.. so you can swing in your hammock then
