Well maybe we won’t end up having a drought this year after all. This week we’ve been told that we could actually be so short of water by the summer that the standpipes will be brought out. Now that’s a scarey thought so I suppose we should be relieved that the weather has been so wet. What’s the betting, though, that the government will say it’s not the right sort of rain! I think to have any benefit and to fill up the water reserves, it needs to be constant for days on end. Not the torrential showers we’ve been getting.
Have spent the day doing housework, pottering around on here and dipping into Big Brother. Oh, and I coloured my hair a plummy red and pink! Yes really! My hair already has honey coloured streaks so I thought I’d see what those bits looked like with a red colour on them. Honey + red = pink, I love it!
I always like Saturdays but I do wish I’d spent more time doing school work so that I don’t have that hanging over my head for tomorrow. Yes and I have changed the theme again I’m afraid……still using Russell Flint. I love this painting of a lady languishing……wish I languished like that 
! I’m really pleased with these colours, as always I made the background myself, getting a bit of a dab hand at that

I’m sorry that you’re getting rainy days, if that’s not what you’d wish for … As for myself, I wish we could get some rain, and even more, a bit more would be great ! Last summer, it probably rained 3 times in two months … can you believe this ??!
We were at my inlaws’ today & I got to work on the 70′s set and on 70′s related premades (added tonight). Tomorrow we’ll be at my parents’ & hope to work a bit more too, there.

Oh, rain, how nice. I do love your new color scheme, and now I understand why I like paintings of reclining ladies. It’s a fantasy. C’est moi on that chaise thing. I was so interested to read about your hair color adventure, as I’m contemplating one myself. I am gray, very gray, which runs in my family. Hair color never touched my mother’s head, and I guess I am following her model. To blonde or not to blonde? My husband says yes. Did I mention he has no gray hair? Of course, I won’t be doing anything drastic with four days of school left. PS (My new like inside reading joke; v. is getting old) You should write a little tutorial for making tiles and publish it here. I’m sure many of us would be grateful. When time allows, of course. This is so funny when they talk about a water shortage here with all the water around and the rain we get! The shortage is due to the greediness of the Water Companies, their huge profit & the lack of investment, all these pipes leaking! It’s a scandal. I don’t believe they should have privatised and sold to foreign companies who don’t even have to publish their annual figures! What do these people care what goes on here, all they want is to be as profitable as possible and they don’t even have to explain anything!
I love red hair, my favourite colour. I had mine red for years and just gone back to brown. So what did the kids say when they saw you on Monday?
