My countdown plugin lower down on the page has just 10 days left before I go back to school….actually it’s 9 as today is more or less done with. I’m happy to say, though, I feel very well rested and just about ready for a new year. I don’t always, but this year as I’ve spent all of the six weeks at home, rather than spending a couple of weeks away, it feels like I’ve had enough time at home. We do have a holiday coming up in October so it’s lovely to have that to look forward to The last few days since blogging last I’ve not being doing a great deal as the weather has been somewhat inhibiting. At about 3pm today though the sun finally appeared and it makes everything seem so much happier and cheerful! The forecast is for good weather for a few days, yipppeeee! My tan is fading so I’m anxious to top it up again.Earlier this afternoon I spent a good amount of time listing items for sale on eBay. I was amazed when one item had a bid put on it within a minute of being listed!!

I bought my second pot of Opi a few days ago. I wanted a colour that’s being tipped for hot this autumn/winter. It’s called Lincoln Park After Midnight and is fab. Sorry about the poor quality photo but this was the only one that showed the colour how it actually is. I’d say it’s the colour of Victoria plums!

Dave’s been fishing this afternoon, on his own this time and to a different place. His outing on Saturday night was a bit of a disaster as they were rained on for six hours and he caught nothing. However today, he rang me a short while ago to say that he’d caught about 10! Purely for the sport though so he won’t be bringing anything home thank goodness. Not that I don’t like fish but I hate all the preparation that needs to be done before they’re ready to be cooked.
