Wanted to show my first purchases from Etsy website. There’s some real finds on there and I couldn’t resist these!
The weather has been very Spring like today and it’s been a real tonic. Half term next week promises to be similar weather which is amazing. Met up with my mum for coffee this morning and then lunch with a friend. Both used to be a weekly event but I realised that I hadn’t done either since before Christmas due to either Dave or I being ill, so it really felt like life is getting back to normal again Dave dialysed last night and the difference in the way he’s feeling was markedly evident when he bounded out of bed and took the dogs for a walk……..heaps more energy I’m so pleased to say

yes, it’s been a glorious day today hasn’t it? We had ground frost first thing, so I bundled up the girl and myself. Hmm. Didn’t quite need the Artic attire, because by the time I got home again, pools of sweat were dripping from me. Nice! And I know..too much information!
I am so loving the book! It’s hilarious! Of course, you know full well that I turned to the Imelda Marcos shoe guide first, don’t you?!
It’s so funny. Actually, puts me in mind of Jackie. It’s the kind of thing I would expect her to write, if she were to ever write a book. (Which I completely think she should do, she’d be a fabulous writer, because, well, she is! Her diary is always so well written. As is yours, but then yours should be, given your profession!!!!

ooh. meant to say to you when I got your email last week, I had started working on the Valentine gift with glasses and shorter hair, but it wasn’t working. I might have another bash tomorrow. See if I can get it looking semi decent. Wouldn’t do it for anyone else, you know!
ok. time to scoot. Bill came back with a bottle of cava, and quite frankly it would be rude not to stick a straw in the top, call it a cocktail and guzzle the lot!!
no news on the baby yet. Am not impressed with Dad to be, who seems happy to leave J in hospital in labour, while he goes home to bed. Told Bill, as it’s been going on since Weds, she’s a prime candidate for pnd, and if he wants to stay together, he should be with her all the time.Men! grr.
off I go. have a lovely evening, and thanks again for the book. Must not read it when humbug kips, or my chortling will waker her up! xxxxx

Weather here, is cold and dull.. hope it brightens up soon.
Didn’t get my book as I met a cousin and she mentioned a cheap book store, all novels £2.99 how good is that.. but they didn’t have The Kite Runner.. waiting on some stock to arrive, so will peek in again next week.. if not will choose something else..
