No idea as yet whether Dave’s infection is under control after the blast with the antibiotics yesterday. When we go back to the hospital tomorrow, we’ll know more. Today we went to Peterborough to buy presents for Dave’s daughter’s birthday and Easter pressies for his two grandchildren. As always I bought Tyler (4) a book and was pleased to find ‘Marvin Wants More’, an hilarious story about a very greedy sheep.
I definitely have to buy it for school! We’ve been doing a lot of travelling around the last couple of days and it’s been lovely to see so much of Spring in evidence. Best sight of all being the lambs gambolling around in the fields. It doesn’t get much cuter! Today the roads have been full of caravans heading for the Norfolk coast and I had a short wistful reminisce for the days when Tom was little and we were doing something similar. He, his Dad and me would frequently go and spend idyllic weekends in a caravan by the sea. In those days it was a part of the Norfolk coast that few people knew about and many were the days that we had the beach to ourselves. Bliss! One new photo to display of a beautiful tulip from my front garden, I hadn’t even realised the fly was there until I downloaded it and resized it!

that book looks good. I’ll have to get it for humbug, haven’t bought her a new book for ages,though she did get some books for her christening, including a RoaldDahl treasury. Lucky thing.
I hope Dave’s infection is under control. fingers crossed.

hope all goes ok today Nikki. Am thinking of Dave and keeping my fingers and toes crossed. and I keep meaning to say…23 years!!!! That’s some kind of record surely! As long as my washing machine can last a bit longer, that’s all I care about. Am seriously sick of handwashing now.
