Current Mood:relaxing tonight emoticon relaxing tonight & Tired emoticon Tired

I really don’t want to be just a once a week poster so am adding a short post tonight. We’re both tired so decided on pizza for tea and then the rest of the evening on the sofa. Not such an eventful week although I’ve been busy every night setting up some new laptops for staff at school. The IWB’s need laptops with DVD players so I had to go out and buy some and now I’m putting all the software on that they need.

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned the fact that our sunflowers at school have been a disappointment. Thought I’d show a photo of them alongside the one from last year: planted at the same time, same kind of seeds, both photos taken at beginning of September, but this year, a very poor summer.

Last year's sunflowers This year's

Now a couple more photos, this time of the display I’ve put up in my book corner in the classroom based on the book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’.

  5. Hi Nikki Goodness what a difference in the sunflowers. I was flabberghasted (sp?) to find we had crocuses in the garden in full bloom and put it down to the odd weather but D. has now informed me that they are autumn crocuses (just call me Alan Titchmarsh) I love the little caterpillar corner, it looks a very cozy space and so beautifully decorated :) Have a great weekend xxx
