Have spent a large part of today going through the thousands of gifs, jpegs etc on my main website. Over six years worth. I decided I would make a contribution to clearing some of the clogged up cyberspace out there! Only about 10mbs but it’s helped……I can now upload new stuff without any problem. But what a tedious job. THEN I had to go back through all the pages (and there’s a lot!) and check that I hadn’t deleted anything by mistake…and I had! I’m practically going cross eyed now! (I was hoping to find a bear mood for that one 
)
I’ve been very good and rested most of my voice all weekend which was really hard yesterday. As Dave had gone out for the day I decided to do all my school work in front of the tv which was tuned into the music channels. I had a great time as one particular channel plays all my favourite music such as Green Day, Chili Peppers, The Killers, Coldplay, Massive Attack and lots of old stuff too. And of course normally I’d be there singing along ….. hmmm, not a good idea at the best of times!!
Anyway, the throat is a lot better today I’m happy to say and I’m beginning to feel human again 
Thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments, I’ll be visiting you all tomorrow as I think it’s about time I went and sat down with Dave, bless him!

Dearest Nik!! So glad you made it to the doctor and you are feeling better.
I had to giggle at you cleaning up your thousands of jpgs and gif, etc. I have been trying to do the same thing, but I don’t seem to get very far!
And for about the 4th time in two weeks I have been working on pages for myself and the kids site and forgot to save the updated page!!! 
Yep, I’ve been way to busy! I’m too old for this stuff! *LOL*
I have several tossed eggs to get uploaded too. I think I am going to have to make another menu and have seasonal sections. Also think that I will start fresh each year. That might help keep the confusion down. Of course it takes me almost until the end of the year to get caught up on everything!
Our new health insurance kicked in a couple of days ago so I’m going to look into getting my gallbladder surgery done. It hurt like the dickens this weekend. Probably because I broke down and had one of those Cadbury Chocolate eggs with the carmel inside. It tasted so heavenly!
Friday on my way home from work I stopped at the store and well, I grabbed that chocolate egg!!!

Oh, Nikki, you made me laugh! I never would have dreamed you thought I was drinking in some speakeasy when I was actually sitting in a bake shop eating junk food!
Sounds like you’re making the most of your time – doing what you can while half sick lol. That is such a good feeling cleaning up your site stuff. I am horrible about just taking it down. I’ve been at this for six years, too – July of 2000.
Jane Austen said there’s nothing like staying at home for comfort, and she didn’t even have TV. What would she say to that? Take good care of yourself and Dave, too.
