IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) is a collective name for chronic illnesses of the bowel, the most common being Crohn’s Disease, which I have, and Ulcerative Colitis.
I have suffered from Crohn’s Disease for 18 years now. After about eleven years of poor health, I have been lucky to be more or less in remission for the last seven years. I’m convinced that one of the reasons for my improvement in health was getting a computer, logging on to the internet and finding other people with the same problems as me. And it was for that reason that I created my own website and message board for people with IBD.
